Bidston Hill - Wirral

This has grown to be one of my favourite places to run on the Wirral, being my first blog I haven't got this organized properly yet, I need to get myself a camera and one of those funky GPS things sorted, I figure to prove that i've actually done it. I'm jealous of those Iphone apps that tracks the distance, time and speed of your run, sounds ideal to me and I don't have one!

If you live on the Wirral and haven't been to Bidston Hill I think you've missed out on a naturally interesting place, which also appears to house a secret lab of some description of the likes of Resident Evil - I must take some pictures next time!

I <3 the varied terrain there, it can get quite rocky so watch out when it's wet as you may find it slippery in places.

There are 3 peaks in Wirral, I believe they are Red Rocks at Thurstaston, Bidston Hill and the dunes in New Brighton - I may have just totally made that up but I like to hit those areas at the moment. When you get to the highest points you can see across the Wirral and to Liverpool so clearly.
